Simply Successful Secrets

3 04 2007

I was in turn invited by DSvT, blogger, to try and give my 10 Simply Successful Secrets; so I’m going to do my best here…!! Not an easy task, sure not, but…

  1. Be happy to be alive. Sounds naïve and too simple perhaps, but remember; we strive each day for an idea of happiness, and often there’s something bugging us in some way, and we stop smiling, which, in the end, doesn’t necessarily help at all;
  2. To contradict the latter, shout or join a boxing club or get creative when you’re feeling upset &/or angry at something, someone;
  3. Know who you are, as much as possible, understand and embrace your qualities and your faults, be tolerant to your own mistakes and learn from them, be as caring and gentle for others as for yourself;
  4. Be persistent; make your goals clear for yourself and then work to reach them; if at times it feels like they’re far far away, keep on going, don’t procrastinate, never give up;
  5. Feel as much as you think, listen to your intuïtions, and to what they’re trying to tell you; a same mistake made twice or more is the obvious sign that you haven’t been paying attention, or refused to listen;
  6. Ask the universe what it is you truly want, understand what it is, and then go for it – don’t be afraid;
  7. What you’re afraid of is actually what you should be doing, dare, and go to the next step;
  8. Read, read, read;
  9. When you’re feeling down, cry, let it out; when you’re feeling up, embrace it and share it generously with others around you, helping will come naturally to you;
  10. Have a good laugh and forget what I’ve just written!

Well, that was a try. Nothing revolutionary though ;)
